Two-Toe
Two-Toe was one of the abandoned babies, we rescued her in a driving rainstorm. She had her head trapped between the bottom of a wooden fence and the sidewalk. The water was coming down so hard the runoff was drowning her. Consequently she is somewhat skittish -- she usually sleeps with one eye open. She is the only cat in the house who won't allow herself to be picked up and NEVER jumps onto a lap.
We have absolutely no idea of how or why we named her Two-Toe, we just did! It doesn't seem to offend her, she answers to it readily.
